“ I had a solo dinner upstairs at the bar overlooking the sea and had a cocktail, scallops and wine. The servers were so lovely and friendly (young guy and girl) and i felt the most welcomed i have during this trip! The wine i was recommended was great and the scallops were delicious - in addition to the ones in top there were more inside! Absolutely great experience. ”
“ We are a Canado-Japanese couple. Ended up in this restaurant after walking by during the day while enjoying the sea side. Also, the Japanese side of our couple had seen the place while enjoying a Netflix reality show. . To put it simple, yes it was during lower season, beginning of June. We had no reservation and we did show up for dinner (7pm, this is France!). They spontaneously accommodated us. The service was excellent, and sadly I suspect our server got into some trouble because we spoke a bit to long with him as we appreciated the moment. We had oysters, a version of grilled and tartar of the same fish, daurade. It was delectable. This is Nice, sea side. Food is not free, but totally affordable if you enjoy good food, beautiful location and good service. We sincerely enjoyed our evening at Sunset, and would like to go back. But Nice and the surroundings have so much to offer, we have to go on and continue to discover. ”
“ A lovely brunch spot and place for a glass of wine. We had a burrata sharer and a chicken caesar salad. Both were great sized portions, reasonably priced and most importantly of all delicious. It is a great spot on the seafront, we went out of season and it was still quite busy. I can imagine its would be a lovely spot in the sunshine during the summer. The staff were polite and let us take our time to enjoy our food and drinks. A place we both would recommend. ”
“ What a special place. I only went for a glass of wine, but I will be going back to eat my way through the menu. This is a place for everything we started with coffees and croissants, VERY fairly priced and we moved in to apéro before lunch. This is the perfect place to watch the sun set also. The service is so warm and welcoming. The QR code menu is also available in several languages. Looking forward to return. ”
“ The food is PHENOMENAL. The duck burger was cooked to perfection with all the best flavors, the sea bass tartar was incredibly fresh and truffle eggs made it the perfect pairing with some amazing cocktails. Staff were great and fast. Deserves a Michelin star in my opinion! ”
